What is "Citizens in Action"?
Citizens in Action is a daylong training program designed to educate citizens about the political process and how they can get involved at the local, state, and national level. The League of Women Voters of Duluth and many cooperating organizations sponsor this free event that is open to the public. Each year over 150 participants attend the workshop and have an opportunity to meet with area elected officials, network and receive many handouts with contact information for area organizations and elected officials.
