The speaker, Jodi Slick, is the founder and CEO of Ecolibrium3, a nonprofit organization with a mission to lead and inspire community change toward an equitable and sustainable future. Ecolibrium3 focuses on developing community resilience in economic and environmental systems in low-income neighborhoods. She was named a White House Champion of Change for Building Resilient Communities in 2013 and has led multiple efforts to advance climate action, reduce health disparities, and expand economic opportunities. Current Ecolibrium3 efforts include Main Street Lincoln Park, COVID Recovery, energy efficiency, the Duluth Citizens’ Climate Action Plan, LNPK Solar Garden, neighborhood-based health planning, developing an age-friendly Duluth, and advancing anti-poverty efforts through a 41-member VISTA program. 

                         Jody Slick will  focus her talk on the intersections of
                        challenges and opportunities at this moment in time.
