What's Coming Up for Voter Services Committee

Looking forward to a busy voter registration and candidate forum season, the Voter Services Committee is looking at options for shared responsibility. Megan Hornby and Susan Brashaw are the Voter Registration Co-Chairs, and Mary Katherine Faulkner and Pat Castellano are the Candidate Forum Co-Chairs. Two VR events are schedule for April. A rescheduled Youth event at Peace Church 4/19 and a table at the Zenith bookstore on Independent Bookstore Day 4/25.

* Voter Registration season is here!  If you are interested in a shift at one of our many community events please text Megan Hornby at 503-508-7333 or email [email protected]. We have an immediate need for volunteers for the June 19 3-7pm NAACP Juneteenth celebration.
*Voter Registration Committee will also have a table at the Annual Meeting to recruit volunteers for Summer/Fall events.
* In May, VR committee members will conduct a call in campaign to recruit volunteers for events in
June, July and August, and will update the VR Training video.   Mary and Pat will be scheduling Candidate Forum after the filing deadline on June 2nd .

*Look for opportunities to volunteer to curate questions or train and serve as moderators
and timekeepers.

*Voter Services is partnering with Youth Civic Engagement and Indivisible to register voters at the Duluth Huskies home games. Watch for opportunities to volunteer for events in June and July.
