Minnesota's Racial Justice Report

Find out what you can do to advance racial justice and end
Minnesota's racial inequities, many the worst in the nation.

On April 29, 6:30 - 8:00 PM there will be a conversation facilitated by Carl Crawford, Duluth's Human Rights Director, with state legislators Rep. Rena Moran and Rep. Ruth Richardson.  Representatives Moran and Richardson will discuss their Racial Justice Report and their recommendations for how we can dismantle the harmful systems that perpetuate Minnesota's disparities.

This event is co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Duluth and Clayton Jackson McGhie Memorial.  The lynchings of Elias Clayton, Elmer Jackson and Isaac McGhie in Duluth occurred 101 years ago.  In spite of all the years that have passed, racial disparities persist to this day.  Rep. Moran and Rep. Richardson's Racial Justice Report lays out a path for how we can achieve just and equitable communities in Minnesota.  Join us!
All of our members are encouraged to read the Racial Justice Report below.
