Join us at Citizens in Action as we come together to learn about the process of government and how to affect positive change. Participants will learn about programs, partnerships & opportunities for citizen involvement & advocacy. This year we focus on how each citizen can answer the call to step up to lead, as an individual or as a part of an organization, for the benefit of their community.

Workshops will be led by representatives of our co-sponsoring organizations which include community nonprofits and advocacy groups. Each organization will share their mission, programs, partnerships, advocacy strategies, and opportunities for citizen involvement. The "Coffee and Conversation" sessions will give citizens an opportunity to connect with local, regional, and state leaders.
