January 6, 2022, marks one year since the violent insurrection of our national Capitol. This was the start of ongoing attacks on our democracy throughout the year resulting in many states passing laws that make it harder to vote. On January 6, we will come together to build community, condemn the actions from the insurrection, and work to pass key voting rights legislation.

- The John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act: This bill would restore and strengthen aspects of the bipartisan Voting Rights Act of 1965, enabling Americans to protect themselves from voting laws that discriminate based on age, race, ethnicity, and other factors.
